My Story
Hi Everyone! My name is Sarah Ward and here is my Scentsy story :)
A little about me; I'm a stay-at-home Mom to 2 kids, Ben 3 and Lauren 1. I live in a very small town in Labrador. I didn't grow up here but moved here because my significant other got a job here and it we made it home. We are both from small communities on the Burin Peninsula in Newfoundland.
Ever since I've hard my first part-time job I was always working 1 or 2 jobs even while going to school full time. I loved being busy, thrived on it actually. When we moved I found in really hard to get a job let alone an interview in my field. I started working in retail and quickly moved into the Assistant Manager Position and loved my job.
Fast forward to Ben being born and a year of maternity leave coming to an end and my perspective on life and being "busy" changed, We decided that I would just return to work on a part time basis, I couldn't bare the thought of someone else seeing all the big steps first.
Fast forward another year; a temporary move, an atv accident and Lauren is born comes my introduction to Scentsy!! While on a family vacation to NL staying with Family my true introduction to Scentsy Wax and Warmers happens and a love forms!
I'm not going to lie, I was very nervous when I first started my Scentsy business! My daughter was only 4 months old. my son was a super busy 2 year old and I was thinking about starting a business! What am I CRAZY???
BUT, I thrived on being busy AND I felt like something was missing! AND, what was the worst that could happen?? A kit full of amazing products for me to use and enjoy. So, I took the plunge and ordered my kit as a birthday present to myself :) And it has been the gift that keeps on giving!
Not only do I get to spend my days at home with my two kids (BEST job in the world), I set my own hours, work around my family schedule, AND I'm my own boss!
In my short 10 months, I've accomplished more then I ever thought possible! I've earned numerous Monthly Sale Awards, Lifetime PRV Sales awards, AND Level 1 of the incentive period! Not to mention, personal goals that I set for myself like being completely Credit Card Debt free (remember the temporary move and ATV accident)!
My goals for the future; expand my team, share the Scentsy opportunity with as many people as possible. If I can be successful, living in my little town in no where Labrador then you can too!
